The Long Count

The Long Count is an audio project which consists of an ecstatic language portrait of 4 prizefighters: Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Joe Frazier. The Long Count was originally commisioned by the artist Paul Pfeiffer for his work of the same name. The works were originally exhibited together at the Whitney Museum of American Art in the Winter of 2001. A very early prototype of the ecstatic laqnguage engine was used in the creation of this piece.
